My studio work is  inspired by the cities where I have lived and traveled. Through drawing, painting, and collage, I construct cities that oscillate between the real and the imagined; the abstract and the representational. Through my drawing process I attempt to choreograph architecture, and through mapping and collage, I chart memory, opportunity, and loss.

I consider my commissioned works to be projects in Art Direction. I work with my clients to understand their vision, and bring it to life. While these works may incorporate my studio style, they are tailored to meet the goals of the client.

I was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, I received my BA from DePaul University in Chicago and my MFA from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston, and I currently live and work in Brooklyn, NY. I have shown my work in Barcelona, Shang-hai, Italy, California, Boston, and New York. Some of my drawings are currently available through Pierogi Gallery in New York.
